For you planning a party at your house soon, or maybe just want to invite some friends for a little cup of tea, the hardest part is making sure the house is clean before the guests arrive. A Persian rug placed in the center of your salon is perhaps the hardest thing to clean.  However, now with our following easy tips, it will be much easier for you to clean your Persian carpet.

1. Read the label

One common mistake that most of us make is not reading the S stickers on rugs before washing them. It is important to know that not all rugs are made of the same material, some can be made of wool, cotton, silk or synthetic. However, you probably wouldn’t know which material was used in the manufacture of your carpet, unless you read the label. It will provide you with the proper instructions on how to clean this specific fabric or maybe it will provide you with a better insight into the type of washing methods that you should definitely avoid.

2. Aspire

The easiest way to clean a carpet is to vacuum it. It is recommended to vacuum at least once a week. However, the advantages of aspiration also vary depending on the material of the carpet. If it’s a wool rug, vacuuming would be good for wool fibers. However, in the case of silk rugs it may be harmful.

3. Shake the Dirt

An easy way to clean a carpet is to take it out into an open space and plate it to take out the dirt. However, if your Persian rug is difficult to carry, or swing, hang it on a clothesline and coat it with a broom handle to take out the dirt.

4. Clean stains

It becomes extremely difficult to keep a Persian carpet clean if you have children who drop all sorts of things on your favorite carpet like baby food or chocolate.  So knowing how to properly clean your carpet is important. The best strategy is to clean the stain at the time, since a dry spot is harder to deal with later. You can use a paper towel to absorb the liquid and a damp cloth to blur the stain later. Always remember to never rub excessively, as it can make the stain even worse than it would be.
